Safety and reliability are important when considering an aircraft needed to handle the tough Kodiak environment, and that is why we chose to operate 2004 & 2005 Found Bush Hawk XP and a refurbished 1952 DeHavilland Beaver. The lack of roads on Kodiak Island and the Alaska Peninsula creates an ideal situation for floatplane transportation. The floatplanes have the ability to cover large distances at reasonably fast speeds and are essentially the pickup trucks of the sky.
Customers charter our floatplanes for a variety of purposes, including camping trips, transportation to remote recreational cabins & lodges, sport fishing, marine support, land survey or government studies. We offer point-to-point charter rates for common destinations, and an hourly flight hour charter rate for not so common flights.
Kingfisher currently offers floatplane charters and transportation with a DeHavilland Beaver and Bush Hawk aircraft. Pay for the space you need - with load sizes / prices 800, 1200 1600 and 2000 pounds and fixed point-to-point rates.
